THE HYBRID Ninja

Game StageLate Game

Demonic Ninja Hybrid of Hybrids. Disclaimer: beefed up version of a build I played before release tweaked to be between what I'm currently playing and aiming for by end game. I have not gotten to verify Nano Regenerator + Spider Joint behavior with the pain and starvation systema post 1.0 but I should be done implementing this in game in a couple weeks. Everything here works with just spider knee and keeping calories topped up. (I'm currently on the bionic lungs + metabolic booster, spider claw + reflex booster + optical suppressor variant.) PLAY STYLES: Range, Melee, Crit, Tank, Dodge. GAME PLAN Rapture a floor by passing turns. Activate pact and kill to charge shield. Eat meat to rapture floor again, ignore baron, go upstairs and complete mission, return to floor 1 and waste baron. MELEE Painhibitor for so much melee damage you can one shot with a pistol whip. (Control click to smack someone with your gun) Carnage to be garunteed to kill all targets adjacent to you for free. RANGE Weapon agnostic build with both crit and raw damage. Cyberpsychosis, Dismantler, Caution. Pick up any weapon/grenade etc and kill anything. Have a casual 200% accuracy when your buffs are up. (With normal base 30% acc weapons) Or 175% with machine guns. Have 100% crit on non-dodge enemies. (200 accuracy-100 = 100/2 = 50% crit chance + 50 crit chance from Caution) As a bonus you will crit in melee but that's just for silly numbers. GENOME INVESTMENT MEDIUM INVESTMENT To reach target numbers in this description assumed 80% Ranged Acc, 98% Melee Acc. HEAVY INVESTMENT At 80 genetic dodge you can drop the dodge perks from the class. You can see from the summary that you don't need to gene mod dodge at all thanks to Cyber Compatibility and Combat Reflexes. This 50 point investment gives you 52% more armor and 2 more AP if you follow my suggested trait swaps. (Dodge starts around 30%) Alternatively you could put those 50 levels into health and try to face tank instead of shield tank. Heaven help you though, shields block wounds and you can easily get 1000 shields. CUSTOM ARMOR I am currently running an even spread on Experion. It was pretty cheap to get to max. Just needed to hoard chips and lab clothes from my proxy for a bit. How to charge pain for painhibitor. Method 1. Morphine Addiction. Bring a stack of 5 and shoot up at mission start, wait for the debuff to hit 75 where it changes to just damage on AP pain and puke chance. Eat spoiled skin or burgers or spoiled spider soup to poison yourself I suggest 3 doses at a time for the bonus to incoming pai Starve yourself for more free pain. Up to you. 20 pain is a comfy start. You can starve up to 75 easily. Note I haven't tried this with Nanoregenerator installed. Only Spider Joint. Regen still does weird stuff to pain. Method 2. Bring mercury rags and 9mm bursting and shoot a wall to injure yourself. Apply mercury rages to your wounds 3 times. 2.1 Use the poison food or starvation techniques from option 1. 2.2 Or continue applying rags 3 more times for a total of 60% rad debuff and try to tank the damage per turn with regen. Probably use Tissue Regenerator for this. Final notes on Vicious if you're crazy like me. Morphine addiction is basically free on this build, at max symptoms it increases addiction chance significantly making further addiction cheaper to get. Gavaahk addiction doesn't matter on this build and carrying some is a good idea anyway for stuff that can wound you through shields, losing an AP or spawning enemies when you're this tanky doesn't do anything. Cig addiction is very cheap to maintain and doesn't take up much inventory space. Alcohol is absolutely awful. Ignoring the addiction the fact that you have multiple turns of 20% accuracy debuff everytime you drink to reset it is terrible. Skip the booze unless you don't care about your accuracy, but at that point don't run this build.

Too Lazy to build around weight modifiers this perk is one stop shopping.

Perks · showing Legend rank

Not selected
Cyber Compatibility is lazy dodge rate. Could actually be removed if you invest in your genome. Suggested Assault Reflex for more AP.
Not selected
Caution is best crit perk. This built should always crit with this up assuming you bump genome ranged accuracy to 80 and melee accuracy to 98. You could keep Athletics and use Magnetic Stabilizer for 10% global accuracy bonus in sprint mode.
Not selected
Combat Reflexes is also lazy dodge and removable if you pump dodge to 80 with genome edits. Suggest Vicious Symbiosis for more armor and damage if using Option 1 to charge painhibito. If you prefer you could slot Masochism but you will have to eat a lot.
Not selected
Dismantler gives global accuracy and some damage for big crits at the cost of calories.
Not selected
Cyberpsychosis is the buggest global damage boost, easily triggered and not picky about weapons unlike Last Bullet.
Not selected
Best melee perk. Kill everything adjacent to you and then move to the next group.

Pact

The cybernetics for this build are geared toward using Itzpapalotl Blood Debt for shield. The plan is to rapture on the first floor and then kill your way through the hoard to charge your shield.
